Dr.Younus
FABIA YOUNUS, DDS, MSD, MSYour smile is your best accessory, and Dr. Younus is dedicated to ensuring it shines brilliantly. With 8+ years of intensive training and a strong family background in dentistry, she’s more than just a dentist; she’s a dual specialist in Periodontics and Orthodontics, a distinction held by only a select few in the field.
Dr. Younus is a committed professional who stays updated with the latest dental innovations. She shares her expertise by teaching part-time at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Dr. Younus holds the distinguished title of diplomate from the American Board of Periodontics and is board-eligible for the American Board of Orthodontics. She actively engages in various professional and charity organizations, including ADA, AAO, AAP, ABP, GHDS, and TDA. In her personal life, she’s a big soccer fan and a food explorer, and on weekends, she supports her son in his sports activities, making it a fulfilling family time.
Education and Expertise:
Dr. Younus completed her general dentistry residency at Houston’s University of Texas School of Dentistry.
She earned a Master’s in Periodontics at Saint Louis University and a Master’s in Orthodontics at the prestigious Columbia University in New York.
Her training involved treating complex cases and groundbreaking research with renowned professors from various dental specialties.
At the end of her training, Dr. Younus, along with her husband, moved back to Houston to be able to raise their, now, three-year-old son surrounded by the southern hospitality of Houstonians. Her husband is a physician-scientist and, as a family, they are always yearning to explore, learn and apply the newest innovations in their respective professions. When not in the office, you would find Dr. Younus surrounded by colleagues and friends, either learning the latest advances in dentistry or coordinating treatment for her patients. She also enjoys her time teaching residents part-time at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Dr. Younus has gone one step further to validate her knowledge and proficiency of Periodontics and Implantology. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics, an accolade only achieved by a small number of periodontists, and is board eligible for the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also actively involved in a number of professional and charity organizations. She is a soccer fan and foodie (by marriage) and, on weekends, is found cheering on her little boy who plays a multitude of sports in the neighborhood and all around town! If not that, you will definitely bump into her bicycling around the neighborhood, or chasing a toddler at a park or the library!

Dr. Younus works tirelessly to make the profession of dentistry better every day and was chosen by her peers to serve as a Board member of the Greater Houston Dental Society as well as a delegate for the Texas Dental Association. She currently also serves on the Legislative Action Committee and the Diversity Committee of the Greater Houston Dental Society.
